Before you subscribe to the Online Exchange
Before you start the process of subscribing to the Online Exchange, there are a few things that you should know about the way the Online Exchange functions.
Valid E-mail address
The E-mail address that you subscribe must be the same address that you will use to send messages and commands to the Online Exchange. Because The Online Exchange is a closed list, only addresses taht are subscribed are permitted to post messages. If you have multiple addresses that you think you might use to send messages to The Online Exchange, you will need to subscribe each address.
Spam Filters
If you use spam filters that require that a person that sends you a message the first time must respond to a confirmation message before the message is delivered to you, you can not subscribe to the Online Exchange. For instructions and assistance in subscribing, please contact the owner of The Online Exchange.
Message Volume
If you are an AOL subscriber, I would highly recommend that you create a separate screen name for use with the Online Exchange. The list generates between 20 and 60 messages a day. Having a separate screen name for List messages will make it easier to read list and regular e-mail.
You must be aware that The Online Exchange can generate a large amount of e-mail on a daily basis. If you are concerned about receiving too much mail then you should select the Digest version of the list during the subscription process. You may change your delivery options from individual messages to the digest version from your subscriber control panel when logged in to the Subscriber Web Site.
If you are ready
Now that you, hopefully, understand more about how The Online Exchange operates, you are ready to start the subscription process.
Or you can resume a subscription request that has not been completed
