NEW! You can now make changes to your message delivery options online by logging in to "Virtual Chapter Room" and selecting "Change Your Account"

When you first subscribe to the Online Exchange, your subscription is set to the following:

MAIL - You received mail from the list
NODIGEST - You recieve individual messages as they are processed by the list.

You can change these settings depending on your needs.

To make changes in the way that you receive messages from the list, you will need to log in to the Online Exchange web site subscriber area. You will need the username and password that you selected when you subscribed to the list.

Once you have logged in, select "Change Your Account". Then select "Change List Delivery Options". You will then be presented with the range of changes that you can make to your account depending on your current settings.

From this point, it is pretty simple. Click on your choice and then confirm the change when asked.

Here are the things that you can do in "Change List Delivery Options"

Temporarily stop delivery of messages (NOMAIL)

Change from NOMAIL back to receiving messages from the list (MAIL)

Change from receiving individual message to receiving one Digest of the past day's messages.(DIGEST)

Change receiving the Digest version of the list to receiving individual messages. (NODIGEST)

Remove yourself completely from the list (UNSUBSCRIBE)

<!--
You send the command by sending a message to me at listowner@ppfa.com and placing the command in the body of the message. Do not send these comands to the list address, they will be rejected. The available settings commands are:

SET PPFA NOMAIL
- This command is used to suspend the receipt of mail, like when you are going to be gone for a few days or on vacation. This prevents your e-mail address from overfilling and rejecting mail. If you use a vacation message, you should change to NOMAIL to keep everyone on the list from getting a copy of it every time a message is sent.

SET PPFA MAIL
- This command is used to resume receipt of messages from the list.

SET PPFA DIGEST
- This command is used to switch from individual messages to the Digest version.

SET PPFA NODIGEST
- This command is used to switch from the Digest version to individual messages.

Once you have sent the command, I will act on it as soon as possible. Remember that I must act on these commands, so it may take a while for them to take effect. Even when I travel, I am usually able to make these changes by remote control once a day.
