Subscribing to the Online Exchange is easy. Membership in the Online Exchange is limited to members of the PPFA® and PMAI. Members can go directly to the sign up page and complete the forms required to sign up for the list. Subscribing to the list is a multi-step process. When you complete the subscription forms, you provide me with the information needed to verify your membership and to add to the Virtual Chapter Directory. When you submit the final form, a message is sent to you that you are required reply to. This ensures that your address is reachable and that your e-mail program shows the address that you subscribed in the "From:" field of messages that you send. It also guarantees that the list is an opt-in list to defend claims of "spamming". Once you have replied and PPFA® has confirmed your membership, you are added to the Online Exchange Distribution List and a "Welcome Message" is sent to you. You will also be added to the data base for the Virtual Chapter Directory. Access to the Virtual Chapter Directory may be delayed depending on my schedule.
