The Online Exchange is an E-mail discussion list. PPFA® members can "subscribe" to The Online Exchange, and whenever they have an art and framing question, idea or suggestion or even want to get a discussion / debate going about an industry topic, Whenever another list member sends out a message, you get a copy of it delivered right to your mailbox. No wading through tons of old messages to find out what is new. The Online Exchange averages around 30 messages a day. You can receive the messages as they are posted or you can request the Digest version. The Digest version is one message that contains all of the messages since the last Digest was published. The beginning of the message has a list of the subjects of all of the posts included. While some think that the Online Exchange is a high volume list, 30 is kind of small compared to other lists that generate 60 or more a day. In addition, Online Exchange subscribers have access to a "Virtual Chapter Room". The "Chapter Room" includes a searchable Archive of past Online Exchange messages, a "Special Stuff" area where you will find things contributed by fellow list members, a Classified Ads area, "Trade Show Connection"; an online bulletin board for members to make gathering plans for industry trade shows, and the "Virtual Chapter" Directory, a listing of fellow "Virtual Chapter" members. |
